as you know fellblades have that "cloud" thing (sorrounding? on?) the blade (not to mention that the blade is already dark as it is). My best guess to dying the fell blade "blood red" would be to dye it red+red+silver. This may or may not work (i wouldnt put your money on it unless youre willing to try it out). Dont yet at me if it doesnt work. As I said, its untested and I wouldnt put my money on it unless I was willing to waste it.

I dyed my Fellblade black. The red handle changed to black and I thought the actual blade went slightly darker, (this may have been my imagination in trying to justify using a black dye on it though).

The fellblade does somewhat change color. However very little and it still retains the same reflective (clouds passing on it) state, shade and design. You can dye it but, the entire swords acts as it was one piece. Not one area changes. example: gadius/shortsword. Only the handle changes on these swords. I have found that when you add silver it makes the color stay the same yet the entire sword is a lighter shade. I would say red+red+silver would have the best blood stained effect. You'll find you can't really get the bloddstained effect on the blade because the entire hilt, pommel, and blade all change color. Oh and you must have not searched too hard because I do remember a post ( somewhere in here, I don't feel like looking) that someone had posted a picture for every color dyed onto a fellblade. Keep looking it's here, I remember. Last edited by Stealthy Trapper; Mar 15, 2006 at 01:32 PM // 13:32.. |

As other said, colors show on a Fellblade but sometimes abit faint.
There were a couple of threads about this already and one of them had this pic posted. Its not mine so the credit goes to the person that made it. |

Funniest part is that the difference is unoticeable on medium settings from an overhead view.
IMO a waste of dye. |

Well byeing it black looks really cool and much better than the original color.
Does not justify buying black but if you get it as a drop and you are not tight on cash then there you go. |

Silver dye on them is cool, it gets rid of the rust.
